Another week…

Nearly there weeks since we got the keys to our premises in Cottingham Way and we finally started turning our building into the day nursery that we want it to be. Lots of background work before getting to a fresh coat of magnolia paint, a calm and neutral backdrop for our walls. Friends and family have been surprised at my basic colour palette, I’m sure! Research shows that too much colour can distract and cause sensory overload. Play resources can become lost in brightly coloured rooms. The aim is to create an environment where children can become absorbed in their play, exploring their surroundings.
